The Landesmusikrat Berlin is the umbrella organization for Berlin’s music institutions and associations, representing more than 600,000 people from all areas of musical life. It places a special emphasis on musical education for both youth and adults.
The Landesmusikrat represents the musical-political interests of its members, serves as their coordination office, and provides advisory support to the Senate and political parties in the Berlin House of Representatives.
