It was probably the Freiburger Barockorchester<\/strong>‘s biggest project to date: Carl Maria von Weber’s “Der Freisch\u00fctz”<\/strong> conducted by its spiritus rector Ren\u00e9 Jacobs<\/strong>. With a top-class vocal soloist and the congenial Z\u00fcrcher Sing-Akademie<\/strong> including Arttu Kataja, Polina Pastirchak<\/strong> and Dimitry Ivashchenko<\/strong>, the orchestra and conductor gave rousing performances in Freiburg, Wiesbaden, Cologne and Hamburg in April and May 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
