The orchestra is known in Finland and abroad for its skilful performances, its creative approach to concert programming and&nbsp;groundbreaking partnerships, such as the Nordic Baroque Scene. At the core FiBO is a Baroque orchestra, but they also venture into early Baroque and Romanticism as well as Sibelius\u2019 works and new music for period instruments. In addition to its own FiBO Records series, FiBO has made recordings with several record labels. The latest record,&nbsp;<em>Il labirinto armonico<\/em>&nbsp;(BIS), featuring Locatelli\u2019s violin concerts with soloist Ilya Gringolts, has received significant international recognition such as Gramophone Editor\u2019s Choice (3\/2021) and Diapason d\u2019or (5\/2021). &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-social-links has-icon-color is-style-logos-only is-horizontal The Finnish Baroque Orchestra and the ensemble <em>La Chambre aux \u00e9chos<\/em> create a staged musical experience that explores the fragility of our planet and the future of humanity. Inspired by the lives of Johannes and Katharina Kepler, <em>Earthrise<\/em> combines seventeenth-century music with new, genre-crossing compositions by composer Juha T. Koskinen and vocal artist Anni Elif Egecioglu. At the heart of the production are two central figures\u2014an actor and a singer\u2014accompanied on stage by a seven-member Baroque ensemble performing on historical instruments.
