Coro e Orchestra Ghislieri is an Italian vocal and instrumental ensemble, which specialises in the sacred repertoire of the 18th century. Founded in 2003 by their conductor, Giulio Prandi, they have performed in prestigious European concert halls and at major international festivals including the BOZAR Music in Brussels, the Internationale Handel-Festspiele in Göttingen, the George Enescu Festival in Bucharest, the Ambronay Festival, the Auditorium Orchestre National de Lyon, The Arsenal in Metz, the Besançon Festival, the La Chaise-Dieu Festival, the Rouen Opera, the Royaumont Foundation, the Oude Muziek Utrecht, the De Singel in Antwerp, the AMUZ in Antwerp, MAfestival in Bruges, the MITO Settembre Musica, the Stresa Festival, the Festival Monteverdi in Cremona and the Festival Pergolesi-Spontini in Jesi. zugänglich macht. 

In 2018, they celebrated their 15th anniversary debuting at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. In addition to that, in 2018 and 2019 Coro e Orchestra Ghislieri was and will be featured in concerts in Italy, Malta, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Norway and Spain.

After their debut album for Amadeus, they produced a series of CDs for Sony – Deutsche Harmonia Mundi. In 2018, a new album devoted to Pergolesi was published for Arcana (Outhere) with the rare Mass in D Major and the hitherto unrecorded Mottettone Dignas laudes resonemus. In October 2021, a recording of Rossini’s “La petite messe sollelle” was released, based on the new critical edition of the Rossini Foundation of Pesaro, which is used for the first time ever for a recording
Coro e Orchestra Ghislieri is the resident ensemble of the historic Collegio Ghislieri of Pavia, where their artistic development is pursued through rehearsal constantly accompanied by research. Since 2017, this research has been supported by a scientific committee established in partnership with the Musicology and Cultural Heritage Department of the University of Pavia.

Prandi absolvierte sein Dirigierstudium bei Donato Renzetti und machte zusätzlich Diplome in Gesang und Giulio Prandi is an Italian conductor, who specialises in the vocal and sacred repertoire of the 18th century. He is the artistic and musical director of Ghislierimusica at the Collegio Ghislieri of Pavia, founded and conducts the Ghislieri Choir & Consort, with whom he performed at many international concert venues and made numerous recordings. He also is always involved in the popularisation of early music in his area, particularly by following the activities of the University Choir of Collegio Ghislieri. Since 2017, he has taught choral singing at the Conservatorio F. Vittadini in Pavia. In 2017 and 2018, he held a workshop on the Italian sacred vocal repertoire of the 18th century at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan.
